Welcome to my personal blog!

My name is Marcos, I’m a 20 year old student from Barcelona who has been a railway enthusiast as far back as I can remember. My passion for trains encompasses many fields, from photography to modelling, but what I enjoy the most is travelling on them.

When I was 5 years old, I went abroad for the first time. During that trip I visited France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, and Germany. It was in this last country where I discovered my true love for trains. My parents always supported me from the first moment and took me to museums and stations to see what I liked the most.

So far, I have visited quite a few countries in Europe and their rail networks but, without the slightest doubt the Swiss one is my favourite. For some time now I travel at least once a year to Switzerland to discover new lines and stay up to date on all the rolling stock novelties. I’m also fascinated by the great preservation work that is done with their heritage trains and I love riding them. I never get tired of travelling by train in Switzerland, especially the Bernina line of the Rhaetian Railway (RhB).

A few years ago, I started a YouTube channel where I upload a wide variety of videos. I do reports on train trips across the world with the aim of encouraging others to travel by this means of transportation and sharing my passion for it. In addition, I have created this blog where you will find useful tips, my travel experiences, life hacks and thoughts about everything that surrounds me.
